How to use the demo included with NCR Decision Mate V on CP/M-80 2.2?

In the last tutorial we saw how to use WordStar 3.0 with NCR Decision Mate V CP/M-80 2.2. In this tutorial we will see how to use the demo included with NCR Decision Mate V on CP/M-80 2.2. You do not need any files for this tutorial.

Using the Demo

First you need to install CP/M-80 2.2 using MAME's NCR Decision Mate V emulation. If you have not already done so see our tutorial on that topic. After you have installed DMV CP/M-80 2.2, we can start the Demo. Start the Virtual Machine. Press the CAPS LOCK key to enable UI control. Then press the TAB key to open the menu.

Then click on File Manager > floppydisk2. Choose extras and then choose the 80NCRGRF.IMD file from the list and choose Read-write.

Then click on Return to Previous menu > Return to the machine. Press the CAPS LOCK key once again to turn off UI control. Now switch to B drive using the following command:

And then, start the demo using the following command:

You can exit the demo by pressing Ctrl + C. You can now close the emulator.

That's it. We used the demo included with NCR Decision Mate V. This software came with no Manuals and is not famous enough to have any related sites.
